I have one simple ‘new’ idea to bring to the Board of Finance: stop increasing property taxes. During the term of Mayor Martin, our property taxes have risen 12 percent, a full six times the cost of living increase of two percent. Since taking office, David Martin has taken from you an additional 51 million dollars in property tax hikes. Enough is enough. If you want further tax hikes, do not vote for me.
