Property taxes are a top priority for our district. We must save through innovation, hire efficiently, grow responsibly, limit tax increases, and shift the tax burden away from homeowners. As one of Connecticut’s few growing cities, we can credit our proximity to NYC, railroad, and quality of life. But our competitive edge must focus on our broader region and the entire nation. As experienced commuters, we realize how vital Metro North is, and will work to make the experience as pleasurable as possible.
Home buyers always ask, “how are the schools?”. In this area we are constantly measured against our neighbors. We must ensure our schools are a beacon of strength, and that dedicated teachers challenge our children every day. My running mate Eric and I have two and five children respectively in public school, and we stand with our fellow parents. School quality is inherently tied to the value of our homes, which for many families is their most valuable asset. This is critical to remember as we fight for everything our kids need to succeed.
Stamford’s growth has created transportation challenges. The intersection of Westover/Palmers Hill/Sillmeadow is a nightmare during rush hour, as is Stillwater/ Roxbury/Long Ridge, and Den/Long Ridge. We need measures such as timed lights, traffic circles, and speed sensors. Roads and bridges must be better maintained, and rebuilt focused on longevity.
We are very proud of our first responders, and will fight to increase patrols and shorten response times in the fight against crime.
My running mate Eric Morson and I believe that the best leaders are those who listen the most. We will offer our constituents various ways to reach us. I will keep my campaign phone number and email active so I can easily be reached:

In addition, we will schedule district meetings to give people a chance to meet each other and share their thoughts and concerns with us in a neighborhood setting. We cannot be the most effective representative of your interests unless we have the opportunity to hear about them directly from you.
