My biggest focus is developing a common-sense approach to controlling development. Northern Stamford is increasingly overdeveloped as is, with traffic constantly building on Hope Street, Newfield Avenue, and many other streets.
We need to be proactive in acknowledging that our area is increasingly popular with young families and thinking about how we can preserve the village quality to our community that we love. Moreover, we need to strongly enforce the existing laws that we have in order to control growth. If we fail to do so, I believe that we will continue to see the same overcrowding and high traffic that already cut into our quality of life. But if we’re dedicated, we can control traffic, manage growth, and look forward to a future maintaining the community we love.
I want to hear from my neighbors, and if elected, everything I will do for communication will flow from that desire. If elected, I’ll continue to seek out ways to meet with residents in the district, and I will keep open every channel of communication for residents to find me.
To that end, I can be reached anytime at the contacts below:
I have the pleasure of serving my neighbors on the Tamarac Condominium Board. I also often volunteer in the community, most recently helping to move furniture for refugees recently settled in the area.
