I support early voting in CT. Voting is a right and privilege that helps shape our democracy. All votes should be equal and counted and when all participate, elected officials have a better understanding on the will of the people. Given the fast pace anon technology and the internet of things, we should be looking at ways to harness technological advantages that are sure and private for electronic voting.

Smart economic growth by investing tin communities and workforce development immediate jobs and jobs of the future which can go a long way to alleviating budget constraints.
Continued investment in education from Pre-K to College for all, as it is the great equalizer and provides for a well informed electorate; and fighting to insure our schools are free and safe from violence that is occurring across our nation..

I support the lockbox initiative. Funds placed into the STF will be protected from transfers to other funds and will, over time, build to a point to fully fund all of the necessary upgrades and replacements needed for the infrastructure needs of the 21st century.

By working with colleagues from both sides of the aisle- as I always successfully have done . I support the legislature working with executive branch to solve the structural changes needed.It will mean compromises from both sides to adequately balance the budget and it needs to be done in away that will minimize harm. Also, support and input from constituents on productive ideas will be key to any solutions, that must be adequately explained and supported by the general population.
