The most pressing issues I hear from residents are a rising cost of living in Stamford and problems stemming from our city's aging infrastructure. The people in District 11 want our roads paved, our property taxes low, smart urban development and a school system that we can be proud to send our children to. There have been a number of pedestrian and biker safety issues in our District stemming from increased development in the Strawberry Hill neighborhood. I will listen to the community and support efforts I believe balance our community's needs and keep the character of our neighborhood. As a member of the Board of Representative I will focus on these issues and keep District 11 a place we can be proud of.

As a parent with a child in the Stamford Public Schools and as a graduate of said schools, I am saddened that our schools have deteriorated to this degree. Our teachers and students deserve better. I already have a working relationship with members of the Board of Education and the Board of Finance. We have discussed mold in our schools, teacher and faculty issues, and other opportunities for Stamford Public Schools. I will continue working with all parties concerned in the role of representative.
